Novel Methods for Indirect Comparison of Treatments: When Are They Needed and How Do They Work?
Abstract
Traditional approaches to indirect or mixed comparison of treatments may not always be appropriate or feasible; novel approaches like simulated treatment comparison and matching adjusted indirect comparisons can overcome challenges like heterogeneity in study populations or incomplete or interrupted evidence networks.
