Powering Value and Access Through Patient-Centered Collaboration
Global healthcare
leaders, researchers, and decision-makers met in November for ISPOR Europe 2025, the premier
conference for health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). This year’s
theme, "Powering Value and Access Through Patient-Centered Collaboration,"
emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships across the healthcare
ecosystem to accelerate patient-centered decision-making on healthcare value
and access.
As healthcare systems
navigate increasing cost pressures, evolving regulatory landscapes, and rapid
innovation, fostering deeper collaborations between patients, payers,
providers, regulators, and industry is more critical than ever, along with an
understanding of the regional considerations of these issues within the EU.
This conference explored how integrating and amplifying patient
perspectives in value assessment, pricing, reimbursement, and market access
strategies can lead to more equitable, sustainable, and impactful healthcare
solutions and featured a special track on patient-centered research.
Through cutting-edge
research, dynamic discussions, and real-world case studies, ISPOR Europe 2025
highlighted the latest advancements in HEOR that enhance patient-centered
innovation, advance healthcare access, and drive better outcomes for all. It was a great opportunity to engage with leading experts, strengthen
patient-centered collaborations, and shape the future of value-based
healthcare.
