Validating the “Treatment Satisfaction Questionnaire for Medication” in Persian and Evaluating Treatment Satisfaction Among Patients With Psoriasis

Abstract

In the original article, the authors indicated that they combined the scores of each of Treatment Satisfaction Questionnaire for Medication’s (TSQM) 4 subscales (which are scored out of 100) to calculate a final score out of 400. Per the guideline of the organization, the TSQM was designed and validated originally to be reported as 4 separate scores only. It was not investigated using combined scores in the way the authors described in this paper.

The combined scores used in this paper were only one of the outcomes the authors investigated (ie, as a redundant measure for extra reassurance). While the authors regret this error, this error does not change the outcome of the study, its conclusions, or its recommendations.
