SIGNAL—ISPOR’s new signature program—looks beyond today’s linear thinking to explore topics that will shape healthcare decision making over the next decade. SIGNAL episodes are scheduled throughout the year and feature speakers who are innovative thought leaders and change makers in sectors that impact healthcare. SIGNAL highlights healthcare development opportunities by concentrating on the latest research, innovative practices, novel ideas, emerging challenges, and provocative subjects. The SIGNAL series seeks to improve understanding by integrating a variety of scientific disciplines and investigating innovative thinking that can improve healthcare decisions. SIGNAL focuses on the “big picture,” while also touching on how health economics and outcomes research can best contribute to solving healthcare’s greatest challenges.
