ISPOR Presents Annual Health Economics and Outcomes Research Awards

Barcelona, Spain—14 November 2018—ISPOR, the professional society for health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), presented a number of honorees with its annual HEOR awards this morning at ISPOR Europe 2018. The ISPOR Outstanding Regional Chapter Award program recognizes outstanding contributions and leadership of the Society’s chapters for advancing ISPOR’s mission in their regions—Asia, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. These awards were established in 2017 and this is the first year the Outstanding Regional Chapter Awards are being presented. The 2018 Outstanding Chapter Awardees are: Award winners of ISPOR’s Scientific Achievement and Leadership Awards were presented to honorees earlier this year at its ISPOR 2018 conference. These awardees included: ISPOR is recognized globally as the leading professional society in HEOR and its role in improving healthcare decisions. ISPOR Europe 2018 is the leading HEOR conference in Europe and draws more than 5000 healthcare stakeholders, including researchers and academicians, assessors and regulators, payers and policy makers, the life sciences industry, and patient engagement organizations.
