Professor Olha Zaliska, PhD, DSci., Head of Department of Management and Economy of Pharmacy, Medicine Technology and Pharmacoeconomics, Postgraduate Faculty, Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, and founding leader of ISPOR Ukraine Chapter, recently co-authored an article in the Lancet entitled “Health impacts of the Russian invasion in Ukraine: need for global health action.” The article shares how the implications of the Russian invasion of Ukraine are reverberating across all sectors of society, including bringing immense demands and pressures to bear on the healthcare sector, and how these impacts are poised to last long after the conflict ends.
