Description:
In all stages of drug development, from discovery, evidence generation to support reimbursement & access, through to marketing and loss of exclusivity, data gaps are common and modeling is often a required element to help fill them. Creating bespoke modelling solutions to address these complex data gaps and challenges are required, with their outputs used to help navigate and inform stakeholders’ decision making. In this session, we will focus on novel modeling approaches used to plug these data gaps by presenting an application of the use of Pharmacometrics (PM) modelling in a Pharmacoeconomic (PE) evaluation in a post-marketing setting.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand common data gaps in Health Economic (HE) analyses and the need for bespoke modeling solutions
- Consider an application of a PM model used for a PE analysis to fill a data gap relating to clinical outcomes
- Explore further methods and opportunities to navigate and fill data gaps for HE analyses in different stages of drug delivery
