New Website Offers Comprehensive Repository of Resources and Tools

ISPOR, the professional society for health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), announced today the launch of its new
Health Technology Assessment Central website. The new website provides a comprehensive repository of resources and tools to support health technology assessment (HTA) and helps to bridge the gap between HEOR and other disciplines that inform HTA and healthcare decisions.
HTA is a multidisciplinary process that informs healthcare policy and supports clinical decision making by assessing health technologies in an evidence-based, systematic, transparent, and unbiased way. Health technologies can include biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, etc. HTA has grown in importance as governments and other payers seek to provide the best possible health outcomes at affordable costs.
