Description
The ISPOR HEOR Competencies Framework https://www.ispor.org/strategic-initiatives/more/heor-competencies-framework, originally published in 2020, provides a set of competencies to serve as a guide on the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors needed to perform effectively in the HEOR discipline. As the HEOR field advances, so do the job types and the breadth of topics in which professionals must demonstrate competence. An update to the Competencies Framework is currently underway by an ISPOR workgroup to ensure its currency and comprehensiveness, especially with regards to diversity, equity, and inclusion; statistics and data science including Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning; and other topics.
- Recognize the competencies and competency domains that comprise the Competencies Framework.
- Describe the process for updating the Competencies Framework.
- Understand the importance and relevance of the new and revised competencies that will be included in the updated version of the Competencies Framework.
