ISPOR Recognizes Its Volunteer Leaders During National Volunteer Week

Published Apr 25, 2017
ANNOUNCEMENT Princeton, NJ—April 25, 2017—The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) celebrates  the remarkable commitment and contribution of its volunteer leaders during National Volunteer Week.We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” This quote by Winston Churchill (the British statesman) applies to each of ISPOR’s volunteer leaders. All the dedicated volunteer leaders at ISPOR embody this statement, and without their many contributions ISPOR would cease to exist. It is only through ISPOR’s volunteer leadership that the Society is able to fulfill its mission to promote health economics and outcomes research excellence (HEOR) to improve decision making for health globally. As those in the United States celebrate National Volunteer Week, ISPOR offers a heartfelt “thank you” to each of its volunteer leaders around the world. Every day ISPOR volunteers contribute to the Society’s mission to improve health care decisions by promoting HEOR excellence. Their work matters, their work advances the science within the HEOR community, and their work makes a very real difference in health care around the world.
