Build Your Skills in Health Economics and Outcomes Research

This course provides clinicians and new researchers with foundational knowledge to incorporate health economics into study design and data analysis. Learners will explore how to identify, measure, and assign costs to healthcare resource use, and how to evaluate the economic impact of clinical outcomes to support informed decision making.

Technical Topics Include:
• Core principles of health economic evaluation
• Cost data collection and cost calculation methods
• Cost-minimization, cost-effectiveness, cost-benefit, cost-utility, and budget impact analysis
• Decision analysis, sensitivity analysis, and discounting techniques

This Course Includes Practical Tools and Concepts That Can Be Immediately Applied, Including:
• Step-by-step exercises for conducting basic economic evaluations
• Guidance on integrating economic endpoints in clinical research
• Methods suitable for learners with limited or no prior health economics experience
