Reporting Answer Categorization and Scoring Methods in the Criteria for Health Economic Quality Evaluation (CHEQUE) Tool
Abstract
With great interest, we read the article by Kim et al, which was published in Value in Health on a quality assessment tool for cost-effectiveness analyses in health economic evaluations. The authors developed the Criteria for Health Economic Quality Evaluation tool to assess the methods and reporting quality of cost-effectiveness analyses. Despite their due consideration in developing the tool, we have questions about the following aspects of the production and utilization process, which inevitably limit its usefulness.
