Abstract

As practitioners of multicriteria decision analysis (MCDA) in healthcare, we found that the paper “Multicriteria Decision Analysis to Support Health Technology Assessment Agencies: Benefits, Limitations, and the Way Forward” provides some very useful practical advice but could do more in addressing a common misconception about MCDA: that it is a resource allocation framework.
