Understand what makes real-world evidence (RWE) decision-grade
This course is designed for professionals involved in generating or evaluating RWE for regulatory and HTA decision-making. It introduces core principles and frameworks for ensuring RWE meets decision-grade standards.
Technical topics include:
Review of recent RWE frameworks and regulatory/HTA case studies.
Key elements that determine the quality and usability of RWE.
Design and implementation factors that impact evidence interpretation.
This course includes tools and concepts that can be immediately applied, including:
An extended interactive example assessing an RWE study for indication expansion.
Practical discussion on how study design choices affect decision relevance.
Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how to design and evaluate decision-grade RWE.
PREREQUISITE: Students are expected to be familiar with relevant concepts and methodologies for analyzing real-world data.
This short course is offered in-person at the ISPOR Europe 2024 conference.
