The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming research across disciplines, bringing both enthusiasm and concern, including within the context of Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) research. As part of ISPOR's COA Special Interest Group (SIG) mission to foster leadership and promote stakeholder harmonization, this webinar will explore the emerging applications, potential challenges, and critical considerations of using AI in COA research. 

Designed for a broad audience interested in the future of COA research in an AI-driven world, the session will begin with Dr. Xiaodan Tang providing an overview of AI in COA and the current state of the field. Dr. Luijten will present his work using the semantic analysis approach to analyze COA qualitative interview data and compare its accuracy with human analysis. Dr. Fang will conclude by discussing industry perspectives on the use of AI in COA, including its applications and challenges.
