With increasing pressure to reconcile universal coverage with access to innovative therapies, countries are struggling in finding viable policy solutions. Managed Entry Agreements (MEAs) have been implemented in Low and middle income countries in an attempt to address this policy issue. This symposium will provide insights from experts representing 3 different perspectives, Academia : MEAs rationale, taxonomy and success implementation cases in LMIC, Industry: Enabling factors for successful implementation and Multilateral organization – WB : Building trust among private, public and civil society stakeholders to improve access to innovation, healthcare outcomes and financial sustainability. FIFARMA will moderate the session followed by a discussion with the attendees.
