Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) provide a new set of scientific research tools to address exponentially larger and more complex datasets, as well as introduce new challenges to health care researchers and decision makers. Our panel will introduce common AI methodologies and discuss the applications of AI methods in a number of areas.
