MEDICATION THERAPY MANAGEMENT INTERVENTIONS IN EMERGENCY AND AMBULATORY CARE IN NORTHWEST ETHIOPIA

OBJECTIVES: To evaluate and characterize the interventions provided by the CP through MTM services in emergency and ambulatory settings in Gondar University Hospital (GUH), Northwest Ethiopia. METHODS: This is a prospective interventional study carried out in emergency and ambulatory settings during February-July 2015 at GUH, Ethiopia. All the activities such identification of DTPs, type of interventions, acceptance of CP interventions documented through MTM were evaluated and analyzed using SPSS version 22 and a p-value ≤0.05 was set to be statistically significant.
