Challenge Incomplete and inconsistent reporting of network meta-analysis (NMA) analyses can limit the utility of these analyses for health technology assessments. The high variability in the completeness of analyses and reporting have been described in the literature. Part of the issue is existing NMA software packages do not provide the full suite of outputs recommended by best practice documents and HTA agency guidelines. A great deal of time and effort is required by NMA practitioners to develop these outputs such that HTA agencies and reviewers would have all required materials to assess the completeness and quality of the NMA. Solution We have developed a new R-based package (BUGSnet) for conducting indirect treatment comparisons within the setting of an NMA. This freely-available package allows the user to generate all outputs recommended for reporting in the PRISMA extension for NMA reporting and the ISPOR-AMCP-NPC Good Practice Task Force Report. This poster will provide an overview of the analytic capabilities and reporting functionalities of BUGSnet with regard to adhering to best practice documents (ISPOR and the PRISMA extension statement). We will present the outputs from an actual NMA analysis using BUGSnet including critical components that support HTA submissions such as descriptive tables of network characteristics and connectivity, pair-wise meta-analyses, network meta-analyses, league tables, SUCRA plots, and inconsistency models.
