OBJECTIVES : Analysis of the structure of the medical prescription of drugs of the quercetin (АТС С05С Х) in Ukraine.

METHODS : The studies used the data of medical prescriptions for quercetin on electronic cards of patients of Ukraine (2017-2018). We analyzed the structure of prescription of quercetin preparations by doctors according to the main diagnosis (ICD-10) of the patient, its complications, concomitant disease, and also according to the doctors' specialties.

RESULTS : We found that the largest number of prescriptions for the main diagnosis falls on I83.9- Varicose veins of the lower extremities (67.3% of all doctor's prescriptions for the group of quercetin). The aforementioned pathology was also a leader in prescribing doctors related to the complications of the main diagnosis (57.6%). Among the concomitant diagnoses of patients, the highest number of physician prescriptions for quercetin preparations was in the treatment of S06.0 Concussions of the brain (6.8%). 45.6% of all quercetin appointments were made by neuropathologists. The therapists were represented in the second position (43.4%), and gynecologists in the third position (7.67%). The smallest amount of quercetin (less than 1.0%) was done by allergists.

CONCLUSIONS : It has been established that quercetin preparations occupied the main positions in the treatment of the underlying disease (varicose veins of the lower extremities), which was performed by neuropathologists and therapists.
