ABSTRACT WITHDRAWN

OBJECTIVES : To analyze the incidence rates of the population of Uzbekistan for tuberculosis in the dynamics of years (2010-2018)

METHODS : The epidemiological indicators of the infection of the population of Uzbekistan for HIV infection were used, as well as the indicators of the Republican AIDS Center of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan for 2000-2018. The studies used data from WHO, as well as the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, which reflect the overall epidemiological situation of tuberculosis in the country since 2000. All statistic calculations were performed using the statistic package StatSoft. Inc. (2017), STATISTICA version 12.0, and Excel spreadsheet. A p-value <0.05 was considered as statistically significant.

RESULTS

:
It was found that, as of 2018, about 25.6 thousand patients with tuberculosis, among whom 58.33% were men, were in special account in Uzbekistan. The highest incidence rate was observed in 2006 (141 people per 100 thousand population), and the lowest - in 2014 (87 people per 100 thousand population). The average incidence rate was 115 people per 100 thousand population. Thus, even the lowest indicator in Uzbekistan for the years that we studied exceeded the maximum value of cases in the EU countries (25 people per 100 thousand of population) 3.5 times. The calculated average mortality rate from all forms of tuberculosis in Uzbekistan was 13.75 per 100 thousand population. The leading position was occupied by 2002 (20.1 people), and the smallest number of deaths from this pathology was observed in 2014.

CONCLUSIONS : Solving the problem of tuberculosis prevention in Uzbekistan requires immediate measures by the state government.
