RESEARCH OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCTS FOR TREATMENT OF TUBERCULOSIS IN UKRAINE AFFORDABILITY INDICATORS

Conduct an analysis of the indicators of physical availability of atituberculosis medicines in Ukraine based on the State Register of Drugs of Ukraine as of January 1, 2019.

At the first stage, we analyzed the data of unified clinical protocols for the provision of medical care to patients with tuberculosis (TB). It has been established that 25 antituberculosis medicines are used for the treatment of TB by the international non-proprietary name (INN). It was established that as of January 1, 2019, the total number of registered antituberculosis medicines by trade names was 329 PTRs taking into account the medicinal forms. The largest number of registered antituberculosis medicines had second-line drugs (75.08%). Analysis of the second-line antituberculosis medicines has shown that the largest proportion was observed for such drugs by INN: levofloxacin (46.59%), linzolid (13.76%), moxifloxacin (11.73%). At the same time, the part of first-line antituberculosis medicines has consisted of 24.92%. The leaders in the number of registered first-line drugs were isoniazid (35.36%), rifampicin (14.63%), ethambutol (13.71%). It should be noted that WHO recommends and agrees on the use of fixed combinations, as well as the development of new, appropriate, fixed combinations of true pharmaceutical quality. However, for today in Ukraine, the fixed combinations of antituberculosis medicines are presented in a rather limited amount.

The next step was to analyze the correlation of antituberculosis medicines to domestic and foreign origin . It is proved that the share of domestic production of domestic in Ukraine makes up 29.1%, while foreign antituberculosis medicines make up 70.9%.

CONCLUSIONS : It is proved that there is a tendency for the dominance of second-rank second-line antituberculosis medicines (75.08%). It has been established that among the registered antituberculosis medicines the biggest part are the foreign-made medicines.
