No. The program starts with foundational concepts and builds progressively. It's designed for HEOR professionals, not data scientists.

Is this a certification?

This is a Certificate of Practice — it recognizes demonstrated competency through program completion. It is not a professional certification or licensure.

How long does it take to complete?

The on-demand courses are available immediately to begin with up to 1 year to complete. Most participants finish within 3–6 months. The total time to complete the required courses for a Certificate of Practice is approximately 20-40 hours.

Can I apply this to my current work?

Absolutely. All learning activities use sandbox environments and HEOR-specific scenarios, so you'll build skills directly transferable to your day-to-day workflows.

Are any of the courses offered in person or live?

For the HEOR Essentials and HEOR Certificate of Practice, all courses are presented in the ISPOR Education Center as on-demand courses.
