OBJECTIVES: To understand the impact of migraine in everyday life from Brazilian patient’s point of view.

METHODS: This was a cross-sectional, multinational study conducted in 31 countries, including Brazil. Adult patients aged >18 years old with at least ≥ 4 migraine days each month in the last three months were selected to participate in a survey conducted primarily online between September 2017 to February 2018. Patients were asked to respond to specific questions on how migraine affected them functionally and emotionally.

RESULTS: CONCLUSIONS: Patients suffering from migraine face significant challenges in their daily lives, and this study highlights how the substantial functional and emotional burden of migraine impairs life for individuals in Brazil.
