OBJECTIVES: To assess the economic impact of flowable gelatin hemostatic matrix (SURGIFLO®) for anterior cervical spine surgery (ACSS) in a Chinese tier III hospital. METHODS: This study analysed the hospital costs associated with ACSS (ACCF—anterior cervical corpectomy fusion and ACDF—anterior cervical discectomy fusion) for degenerative cervical spine disease in a Chinese tier III hospital from 2014 to 2016.
