Health technology assessment (HTA) is increasingly accepted and plays an important role in healthcare decision making in the Asia Pacific region. It is a critical factor in getting medical devices to market successfully, and helps make informed choices about appropriate use, coverage and reimbursement of medical devices. This forum will address current status, challenges and potential, and future trends in HTA of medical devices. The speakers will discuss HTA practices for devices, update on progress in assessment in their countries, and share valuable insights and experience.
