OBJECTIVES: Systemic Lupus Erythematosus(SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disease that leads to a variety of negative health outcomes resulting from inflammation in various organ systems. Though treatment continues to advance, fatigue remains one of the highest-rated, unaddressed patient complaints. Understanding the mechanisms of fatigue can help guide appropriate interventions to improve overall outcomes. The aim was to evaluate if insomnia, depression, pain, and physical functioning mediated the relationship between disease activity and resulting fatigue in individuals with SLE. METHODS:
