OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the anti-asthmatic potential of Artemisia pallens methanol extract (APME) in ovalbumin (OVA)-induced airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR) in laboratory rats. METHODS: The methanolic extract of aerial parts of Artemisia pallens (APME) was prepared. The AHR was induced in the male Wistar rats by intraperitoneal (i.p.) injection of OVA.
