OBJECTIVES

: The prognosis for patients who relapse or are refractory to chemotherapy for NHL remains poor. Autologous-HSCT is considered potentially curative, but long term survival is generally limited to those with chemosensitive tumors. For patients who are refractory to autologous-HSCT, allogeneic-HSCT offers another potentially curative option. Inpatient complications during the HSCT are common, but little is known about their impact on hospital costs.
