OBJECTIVES:  Haemophilia A & B are rare coagulation disorders that often require a lifelong substitutive treatment with clotting factors VIII or IX (FC). Mainly because of the high price of FC, the covering of therapeutic costs can appear as a burden for the French Health system. However, there is little specific information related to exact treatment practices in France. Therefore, this data collection from the research database (BERHLINGO) will provide an accurate and detailed account of current Haemophilia A and B treatments. METHODS:  We analyse direct costs associated with CF treatments of patients with Haemophilia A and B followed in seven centres in Western France (6 months-study, 2015); data were obtained from hospital pharmacies. We used perspective of healthcare provider. We chose cost-of-treatment, prevalence-based approach and compared costs based on type/severity of haemophilia, type of CF and in-/out-patients’ management. RESULTS: The preliminary results from 31 pharmacies show that 192 haemophiliacs received FC on the study period: 80% haemophiliacs A and 20% haemophiliacs B, 20% of which suffering of severe Haemophilia.
