OBJECTIVES: There is currently no health related quality of life (HRQL) data related to postprandial glucose (PPG) control in patients with diabetes. Consideration of HRQL in diabetes has primarily been associated with long-term complications and hypoglycaemia. Postprandial hyperglycaemia has shown to be frequently present in patients with diabetes and understanding the impact of PPG control on patients’ daily life is therefore of importance. The overall aim is to quantify the impact of PPG control on HRQL, expressed as health utilities obtained utilising a Time Trade-Off (TTO) approach. METHODS:
