OBJECTIVES: In patients with chronic spontaneous (CSU), who remain symptomatic despite the use of anti-histamines, omalizumab significantly improved outcomes in three Phase III randomized clinical trials. We aimed to identify characteristics that could predict the speed of symptoms recurrence after treatment discontinuation, and explore the potential relationship between the timing of response onset and the speed of symptoms recurrence in CSU patients treated with omalizumab.
