OBJECTIVES: In response to rising spending in oncology care, various frameworks have been developed to assess the value of oncology drugs. Each framework produces product-specific ratings meant to reflect efficacy, toxicity, quality of life, and quality of evidence. We propose a methodology for evaluating the reliability and validity of such frameworks and provide an example.
