OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the cost of anemia management according to hemoglobin level variability in hemodialysis (HD) patients. METHODS: This was a retrospective study based on computerized medical files, (Hemodial® software database), which included 636 HD patients in 5 dialysis centers in 2009.
