OBJECTIVES: The aim of this global survey was to evaluate the management of wet age-related macular degeneration (wAMD) from a patient/caregiver perspective. METHODS: Patients with a wAMD diagnosis and current or prior use of intravitreal injections and caregivers from nine countries (Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, and the UK) completed a questionnaire. RESULTS: CONCLUSIONS: Many patients and caregivers identified a number of obstacles in managing wAMD. These included the treatment itself (patients and caregivers) and loss of productivity (non-professional caregivers).
