Access to rare diseases treatment are frequently complicated by lack of options, high price, lack of evidence, and diagnostic difficulties. Thus, economic evaluation of their treatment strategies often has to resort to innovative techniques to overcome the challenges. This session will consist of four exciting studies that investigate new treatment options and screening strategies for thalassemia, cancer and Long QT Syndrome. Seating is limited.
