OBJECTIVES : To compare quality of leaning and quality of students’ life before and after the widespread Covid-19.

METHODS : A cross-sectional survey by self-administrative questionnaire was performed to investigate quality of learning and quality of life of pharmacy students at Burapha University during epidemic Covid-19 in the year 2020. Population was all Burapha pharmacy students year 2-5. Sample size was calculated by Cohen1988 page 384 table 8.4.4, when Alpha was set at 0.05, power 0.80, effect size 0.15 yielded n=175*1.25 =219. Probability simple random sampling was employed to collect samples. Paired t-test and ANOVA were used to compare means of ratio variables.

RESULTS : Total respondents were 213. Majority is female 170 (79.81%), male 49 (23.49%). During Covid-19 widespread, Students studied via Ipad, smart phone, and notebook (36.76%, 32.90% and 22.98% respectively). Quality of learning and quality of teaching before was significantly better than after endemic Covid-19, (p=0.00, 0.000 respectively, paired t-test). However, quality of facilities for accessing knowledge and quality of students’ life before was not significantly different from after endemic Covid-19, (p=0.12, 0.16 respectively). Male and female were not significantly different in quality of learning, quality of teaching, quality of facilities for accessing knowledge and quality of student’s life before and after endemic Covid-19. GPAX did not significantly correlate to quality of learning, quality of teaching, quality of facilities for accessing knowledge and quality of student’s life before and after endemic Covid-19.

CONCLUSIONS : Covid-19 decreased quality of learning and quality of teaching. Quality of learning, quality of teaching, quality of facilities for accessing knowledge and quality of students’ life were not different between gender.
