ABSTRACT WITHDRAWN
OBJECTIVES: Engaging patients in the organization of the contraceptive provision system (CPS) is the way to fully realize women's reproductive rights. Furthermore, it is the way to establish an efficient health care system that will ensure the country's demographic and labor security. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to develop and test the concept of CPS improvement that concentrated on engaging patients.
METHODS: Structural and functional modeling, methods of establishing preferences - conjoint analysis (CA), and Van Westendorp's method (estimation of willingness to pay) were used.
RESULTS: A structural and functional CPS model was built. The opportunity to view the phenomenon of patient-oriented as a systematic process of internal transformation through the appropriate reception and treatment of feedback was demonstrated. The possibility of presenting the patient as a feedback creator, and the process of receiving and processing feedback as engaging the patient in the organization of CPS, were corroborated.
The hypothesis of a patient-oriented form of quality management in CPS was proved and the production-consumer concept of CPS improvement "5M +5P" was formulated, based on the above theses and the analysis of the concepts of "need", "quality drug", "subjective quality", "objective quality". The PSC's main internal transformation pathways (5M and 5P quality system tools) were established. The methods of receiving and processing feedback (CA and Van Westendorp's method) to establish the needs of the patient were tested. Promising internal system changes were outlined in order to improve the quality of the system's work for the benefit of the patient and the state.CONCLUSIONS: This concept of the PSC's improvement is the basis to further knowledge discovery from the database by building a machine learning model on the accumulated data, incl. the data obtained from the engaging patients. This concept also can become part of a global human-centered design (HCD) approach.
