A novel Coronavirus that surfaced in late December 2019 and caused COVID-19 pandemic has shocked the world with unprecedented health and economic crisis and triggered uncertainties surrounding almost every aspect of human life worldwide. However, the pace and level of responses to the coronavirus crisis varied in different countries leading to different results. In light of the ongoing developments with COVID-19 situation, this special session brings together health experts across the Asia Pacific region to provide the latest updates and share the anti-COVID-19 strategies in different countries bringing regional insights on how to slow the spread of the virus, reduce its impact on public health, and minimize economic and social disruption.
