Lawrenceville, NJ, USA—September 22, 2026—ISPOR—The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research announced today the launch of its new HEOR Ambassadors website.
Health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) is a field that studies how to best improve healthcare decisions by understanding factors such as effectiveness, cost, and patient quality of life. ISPOR’s HEOR Ambassadors are global thought leaders in the field who contribute by communicating through speaking engagements and media interviews to help increase the awareness, understanding, and use of HEOR insights.
Interest in the field of HEOR has been growing. As healthcare systems around the world grapple with rising costs and increasingly complex choices for decision makers, it has become more important than ever to fully understand the value of treatments and the difference this can make for patients and their caregivers. The HEOR Ambassadors website features thought leaders who can be requested to speak at an event or to members of the media about HEOR-related issues.
