Bruce Crawford is the general manager for North Asia at Vista Health, based in Tokyo, Japan. With 30 years of global experience in health economics, outcomes research, clinical outcomes assessments (COAs) and real-world evidence (RWE), he has led the development of high-performing teams and established regional operations across Asia, and the US. Bruce has a proven track record in launching and expanding RWE and HEOR functions and introducing advanced methodologies. He has held senior leadership roles at several consultancies, where he directed large-scale epidemiological and market access studies. He is also a frequent scientific contributor and invited speaker at international conferences and has authored over 80 manuscripts and delivered more than 200 presentations. In addition to his industry leadership, Bruce has served as a clinical instructor at Tufts University School of Medicine and held adjunct teaching roles at the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, and guest lectures at St. Luke’s International Graduate School of Public Health. His work bridges academic rigor with commercial insight, helping clients navigate regulatory and reimbursement landscapes while demonstrating asset value through robust evidence generation.
