Analysis of the Registered Indications of Medicines Used in Gastric and Duodenal Ulcer Diseases

OBJECTIVES: Analysis of the registration rate of drugs used in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers
METHODS: A comparative analysis of the range of drugs used in the treatment of above disease, registered in the "State Register of Medicines, Medical Products and Medical Equipment Allowed for Use in Medical Practice" was used.
RESULTS: According to the results of the research, 168 drugs used in stomach and duodenal ulcer disease are registered by trade names in the "State Register of Medicines, Medical Products and Medical Equipment Allowed for Use in Medical Practice" No. 23 of 2019, of which 75% are foreign from the countries, 8.3% from the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States(CIS), 16.7% organized medicines produced by local pharmaceutical enterprises(LPhE).In the State Register No. 24 of 2020, 191 drugs used for this disease are registered, of which 75.4% are from foreign countries, 7.3% are from the CIS, and 17.3% are produced by LPhE. In the State Register No. 25 of 2021, 217 drugs used in this disease were damaged, of which 74.2% were from foreign countries, 7.4% are from the CIS, 18.4% are produced by LPhE. In the State Register No. 26 of 2022, 250 drugs used in this disease, of which 74.8% are from foreign countries, 6.8% are from the CIS, and 18.4% are produced by LPhE. In the State Register No. 27 of 2023, 235 drugs used in this disease are registered, of which 74% are from foreign countries, 6.8% are from the CIS, and 19.2% are drugs produced by LPhE.
CONCLUSIONS: In 2019-2022, the number of drugs used in the treatment of above disease, produced by foreign, Commonwealth of Independent States and local pharmaceutical enterprises, included in the State Register, increased by 48.8%, and in 2023 was found to be reduced by 6% compared to 2022.
