"Dr Susan Griffin, has over sixteen years' experience in health economics. She specialises in methodological and applied research, and has developed methods for incorporating health inequalities into economic evaluation and reflecting cost and health impacts across sectors. Susan has been a member of the NICE Technology Appraisal Committee, and received funding from NICE in terms of technology appraisal and methodological support for public health guidelines and through the Decision Support Unit. Her work for NICE included an assessment of incorporating wider societal benefits in technology appraisal, methods by which NICE processes can incorporate health inequality impacts, and an assessment of the impact of previous recommendations on health inequality."
