Marie Gerstrøm is Head of the Consultancy and Negotiation Department at Amgros, Denmark’s pharmaceutical procurement organization. A health economist by training with an MSc in Medical Market Access, she leads a team working at the intersection of horizon scanning, health technology assessment (HTA), market access, pharmaceutical price negotiations, and innovative contracting.

Her department is responsible for negotiating pharmaceutical prices, including managed access and innovative pricing agreements, and works closely with the Danish Medicines Council to support evidence-based decision making and patient access to new medicines. Marie and her team have extensive experience translating evidence into practical access solutions, managing uncertainty at launch, and exploring the role of real-world data in sustainable healthcare decision making.

Through active engagement in Nordic collaboration, Marie has developed deep insights into how HTA, pricing, procurement, and market access are approached across the Nordic countries. She brings a payer and procurement perspective to discussions on how HEOR can evolve to better support future healthcare systems, HTA bodies, and access decision makers.
