DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to provide a good understanding of how to plan and undertake real-world evidence (RWE) studies to collect patient-level data through a digital app and across different countries. During this course, the benefits and challenges of developing digital "bring your own device" (BYOD) apps to collect PRO data will be discussed and analyzed. The focus of the course will be on rare diseases and oncology, and specific case studies will be presented. The methods of analysis of such datasets, as well as their value and use to support HEOR/HTA strategies will also be discussed. The course is open to all and no specific prior experience is required, apart from a basic level of understanding of RWE.
