ISPOR 2008-2009 Board of Directors Call for Nominations

ISPOR is a member-driven organization. As a member driven

organization, its governance is determined by the membership. Since the Society is a diverse group with respect to education, work environment, geographic location, and type of outcomes research conducted (economic, patient-reported, or clinical [treatment effectiveness]) or type of health care decisions made, the 2006-2007 ISPOR Board of Directors approved 2 additional Director positions to assure member representation on the Board of Directors. Therefore, the ISPOR Nominations Committee is seeking qualified candidates for the position of PRESIDENT-ELECT and 5 DIRECTOR positions. You, as an ISPOR member, are invited to submit your name if you wish to be considered for a position on the 2008-2009 ISPOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS. You may also recommend the name of another ISPOR member.

ISPOR Comments on EUNetHTA HTA Core Model

The EUnetHTA, a network of health technology assessment agencies in Europe with the aim to establish an effective and sustainable European network for HTA, are developing 8 ‘work packages’, one of which is to develop a common core HTA.
