The group’s first two projects are an insurer survey and an insurance industry literature and trade journal review. The group plans to develop the results into recommendations on conducting outcomes research that is readily understandable and useful to payers and promote adoption of outcomes research in payer health care decisions through publications, presentations, short courses and other communication tools, such as slide sets.
