NEW Patient Registry SIG
As addressed by the ISPOR Using Real World Data for Coverage and Reimbursement Task Force, there is a need for good research practices for collecting and reporting “real world” data.  Patient registries are one source of these data. To enhance and support the development of good research practices for patient registries and the use of this information in health care decisions, ISPOR has launched three new Patient Registry SIG Working Groups to address key patient registry issues as follows:

ISPOR 1st Brazil Local Chapter Congress

The 1st ISPOR Brazil Local Chapter Congress was successfully held 27-28 March in São Paulo, Brazil. Over 250 attended, including over 50 key government officials and attendees from health management organizations, industry, and acadamia.

ISPOR China Shanghai Chapter

ISPOR China Shanghai Chapter inaugural meeting was held March 9, 2007 in Shanghai China. Over 60 people attended, including many officials from the Shanghai municipal governments and other provincial government agencies.
