Dr. Lina Sofía Palacio-Mejía, is researcher of CONACYT in the National Institute of Public Health of Mexico and the coordinator of the Biostatistics and Health Information System master’s in public health program. I have a PhD in population studies, El Colegio de México, a Master in demography, El Colegio de la Frontera Norte, and a bachelor’s degree in health information systems management, University of Antioquia, Colombia.

The focus of her research is in the production of evidence about the health information system’s strengthening on the performance of the health system and Real World Evidence. She been a consultant for the Health Metrics Network, Measure Evaluation and PAHO.
