Lotte is associate member at the Hutchinson Institute for Cancer Outcomes Research (HICOR) at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and an affiliate professor in the Pharmaceutical Outcomes Research and Policy Program at the University of Washington, Seattle. She is also co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Panaxea bv, a health innovation consultancy firm with offices in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Her work focuses on developing and applying health economic and decision-analytic research methods to accelerate patient access to high value screening, diagnostic and treatment options against cancer and other diseases, at each stage of the innovation lifecycle. She regularly provides (post-) graduate and external training in health economics and outcomes research. Previously, Lotte has worked as (senior) investigator at well-known health economic departments of universities in the UK and the Netherlands where she conducted numerous studies varying from the early assessment of specialized medical technologies to full economic evaluation of chronic care programs. In various roles she was responsible for developing, leading and conducting health economic research programs and was director of a health sciences graduate education program. Lotte serves on the ISPOR Value of Information TaskForce and on the editorial board of various academic journals. She received and MSc and PhD (cum laude) from Maastricht University, The Netherlands.
